Currently seeking to expand its busy office this company is now recruiting for the position of Architect.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in architecture with at least three years experience working on commercial projects and residential developments. Experience within healthcare and educational developments might be an advantage.

• Ideally 3 to 5 years post qualification experience
• Very good AutoCAD skills
• Strong technical abilities
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Hands on design work, managing a team of junior engineers and technicians and running jobs
• Project management under the direction of a Project Director
• Technical report writing
• Contract document preparation
• Tender process and evaluation

Requirements:

• Degree Qualified
• Chartered Engineer
• Ideally 4 years plus experience in water / wastewater design
• Strong technical skills
• Good communication and project management skills
• Experience in DB and DBO projects would be an advantage
• Will be responsible for running your own jobs but will also be involved in day to day technical queries from other team members
• This position includes the development of the existing portfolio of work and the development of further works
